The Belgian ace has made headlines for his intentions to leave Manchester United, but new details have come to light about why he wants out of Old Trafford.

Romelu Lukaku seems to be living his final hours at Manchester United, but not only coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can be blamed for it.

The Belgian striker has fallen down the Norwegian boss' pecking order, which has forced him to search for other employment opportunities. Nevertheless, that is not the only reason why he wants to leave the club, according to a report by The Athletic.

The report suggests that Lukaku is mad at Manchester United execs and the team's coach for their handling of Pogba's transfer situation. The Belgian ace allegedly feels Solskjaer has been "indulgent" to Pogba's repeated suggestions about a transfer. To make matters worse, Solskjaer has given Pogba some playing time during the pre-season, while he has been snubbed from the first team ahead of the EPL opener against Chelsea on Sunday.

Added to that, Pogba and Lukaku had a heated exchange last season, which deteriorated their relationship on the long run. Sources consulted by the aforementioned website state that this also had an effect on the player's relationship with Solskjaer, and the duo is barely speaking to each other as of now.

Lukaku feels he has handled his transfer wishes properly, contrary to how Pogba and his agent have gone on the record to state their intentions. Now, the former Everton player may have to return to Old Trafford to solve his future, even if that means having to endure a complicated situation inside the team's locker room.
