The French league winners are eyeing a move for the Juventus outcast.

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain has stepped up its pursuit for Juventus star Paulo Dybala. The French club is interested in acquiring the service of the 26-year-old Argentine international whose purported transfer to Manchester United has hit a snag.

The Juve No. 10 was reportedly on the verge of sealing a transfer to Old Trafford which would have seen Romelu Lukaku heading in the opposite direction. However, reports that emerged from England on Sunday indicated that the Red Devils have pulled the plug on the deal after having reservations about the Bianconeri striker's willingness to join the club.

Furthermore, the Premier League outfit was said to be adamant to match the exorbitant wages and commission being demanded by Dybala and his agent, Jorge Antun. On the contrary, multiple Italian news outlets have enough reason to believe that there is a possibility of the deal going through although things are quite complicated at the moment.

The uncertainty is one which has apparently presented Paris Saint-Germain the opportunity to make a swoop for the Juventus playmaker and, according to Corriere dello Sport, Les Parisiens could be making a move soon. The player has been identified as the potential replacement for Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr who is angling for a move back to La Liga champions Barcelona.

PSG's pursuit is not expected to be complicated as Dybala is said to be in favor of a transfer. The Argentine striker who returned to training for the first time after featuring in this year's Copa America has reportedly been told that he has no future under new Bianconeri head coach Maurizio Sarri.
