Two other European giants are ready to compete for the Ivorian attacker.

The odds of Nicolas Pepe leaving France are growing, with Lille president Gerard Lopez confirming that four top European sides have lodged in acceptable bids for the attacker.

The Ivorian made a name for himself in Ligue 1 last season, guiding his French side to a runners-up finish in Ligue 1. The 2018/19 breakthrough star scored a whopping 22 goals, a figure that was bettered by only Kylian Mbappe.

As a result, a host of European giants are ready to steal him away from Lille. Les Dogues look resigned to losing Pepe, with the president admitting that he has accepted four offers for the winger.

"We received offers for him that meet our demands from four big clubs," Lopez said, as per Gianluca Di Marzio.

"Napoli made an offer for Pepe and they met our asking price of 80 million (euros).

"Now it's up to the player to decide where he wants to go on the basis of the offers that his agents have received from those four clubs.

"Pepe will return from holiday on Monday and I think and by mid-next week he will make his choice."

According to L'Equipe, the three other clubs besides Napoli to have made a worthy offer for the Ivorian are Liverpool, Arsenal, and Inter Milan. Of the four clubs, the Reds are the most promising, having won the Champions League last season and coming achingly close to the English top-flight title.

However, the question is would he struggle to break into Klopp's starting eleven or not given the presence of Salah and Mane? That wouldn't be a question should he opt for an Emirates Stadium move, as the Gunners are in dire need of a winger.

Napoli and Inter Milan, meanwhile, are in the midst of exciting projects as they aim to bridge the gap between themselves and the undisputed kings of Italy, Juventus. All that's left for Pepe is to choose his destination.
