The Bosnian defender showed he is no one to mess around with after squaring off with robbers trying to steal his German pal's car.

Details continue to emerge surrounding a shocking attempt to hijack Mesut Ozil's car. The German star was with close friend Saeed Kolisinac when two armed thugs tried to steal the 2014 World Cup winner's Mercedes G-Class.

Since this incident came to light, Sead Kolasinac has been dominating the headlines. This is because the Bosnian defender emerged as the hero in this scare, as the full-back fought off the robbers despite being unarmed.

The incident was caught on CCTV camera, with the footage later being leaked on social media. The former Schalke defender was seen getting down from the car to chase the thugs with his bare knuckles despite the fact that the attackers appeared to be armed with knives.

Kolasinac is already known as a no-nonsense brute force in the Gunners dressing room and this incident will only add to his reputation of being a tank. The 26-year-old later took to Twitter to tweet what appeared to be a response but later deleted it. However, anything posted on the Internet can be found and his deleted post has now come to light.

It appears Kolasinac was proud of his heroics, posting a fist emoji before deleting it shortly after the incident

According to the Daily Mail, Ozil and Kolasinac were chased for a mile by the men on bikes attempting to hijack the German's $124,000 SUV. The pursuit continued even after Kolasinac squared off with the thugs, with the Arsenal pair seeking refuge and aid at a Turkish restaurant which they often visit.

Police later arrived at the scene but no arrests have been made. Both players were fortunately unharmed, as revealed by both the law enforcement and their Premier League employers
