The Brazilian wants out of Parc des Princes but the ramifications could be grave.

According to reports, Nasser Al-Khelaifi reached his last straw with Neymar and issued grave threat at the wantaway PSG superstar.

El País writes (as per Record) that the Parisiens president was left unhappy with the Brazilian after he named the Remontada against the Ligue 1 champions as the best moment of his career, which was seen as a disrespect to his current employers.

The fact that the Selecao ace has not reported for pre-season duty made things worse for Al-Khelaifi. A source at the club claims that the Qatari threatened to make the 27-year-old superstar train alone as punishment for his attempts to force an exit.

Furthermore, Al-Khelaifi was not happy to hear that Neymar is willing to take a salary cut to leave Paris in favor of a return to Barcelona and thus warned him that he would receive the same treatment Adrien Rabiot endured during his final months at the club. The club president informed the Brazilian that the French giants are capable of freezing him out of the squad until the end of his contract, which would mean no football for the former Santos ace until 2022.

Neymar is the club's highest-paid player but Al-Khelaifi insisted that the club can cope with financial ramifications of paying the Brazilian to do basically nothing. However, the player's father who is also his agent hit back, claiming all hell would break loose in the dressing room.

Neymar Sr. argued that should PSG go down this path, Tuchel's other stars would demand astronomical wages as they would not accept earning less than an exiled attacker. This rebuttal caused the board to tone down their threats but they demanded a meeting with the South American in order to seek a resolution.

The player complied but this matter is nowhere near a conclusion. It is no secret that Neymar yearns for a return to Barcelona, but his high transfer price and the arrival of Griezmann make things complicated for the Blaugrana. Only time will reveal how this saga will unfold.
