Meetings between Juve execs and agent Mino Raiola came to an end on Thursday, leaving Real Madrid as the only team interested in the Frenchman's signing.

Juventus fans who thought that Paul Pogba was closing in on a shocking comeback will be disappointed to hear that the French footballer will not return to Allianz Stadium anytime soon, as the bianconeri have placed their efforts to sign the World Cup champion on hold.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Juventus' vicepresident Pavel Nedved has informed the player's agent that they will not enter a bidding war to sign him.

The bianconeri side was reportedly interested in making the deal happen by offering Manchester United three players, but Nedved's recent call to Raiola intends to end all speculation on this matter.

In fact, according to the English newspaper, Nedved told Raiola that they will end their pursuit of their former footballer to focus on hiring other players.

The aforementioned report will leave Real Madrid as Pogba's only option to leave Manchester United. The French midfielder is currently training with the team in Australia, but coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stepped up to say that the Red Devils will not give away one of their star players.
