Round one was won by Brazil, following a number of incidents that took place near and inside the Argentinean's hotel.

Some people say that all is fair in love and war, but this time, Argentina's National Team begs to differ with that proverb.

The eve of the crucial Copa América semi-final clash between La Albiceleste and Brazil was not easy for Lionel Scaloni's men, as a couple of incidents prevented the team from getting enough rest prior to the clash.

The first incident reported by Argentina's execs traveling with the team involved a number of noise bombs being exploded in the streets near the team's hotel, located in an exclusive neighborhood in Belo Horizonte. The "explosions" lasted until 02:30 in the morning, local time.

Then, another incident took place inside the hotel, as several players reported wake up calls at 06:00 in the morning. Any hotel guest can ask the front desk to wake them up at any given time, but reports state that no Argentine player requested such a call today.

These tactics are usual whenever two bitter South American rivals are getting ready to lock horns in a big game, but no one expected something like this to take place in the midst of a Copa América semi-final. Either way, round one of this fight seems to have been won by Brazil, since Argentina did not get a good night's sleep.
