Summer's big move for Real Madrid would see Los Blancos satisfying one of Zidane's wishes, contrary to the club's desire to hire Christian Eriksen.

Real Madrid has given Zinedine Zidane three new players in this transfer window, but he wants one more piece to complete his puzzle. After the arrivals of Eden Hazard, Eder Militao and Luka Jovic, the French boss wants one more top-caliber signing, with Paul Pogba being the man he wants to boost the team's midfield.

The French midfielder seems to have played his last game with Manchester United, but the English side seems unwilling to sell their best scorer from the 2018-19 campaign. With that in mind, and given the variety of players Real Madrid can include in such a big money transfer, Zidane has asked the team's hierarchy to go all in to lure the player to the Bernabeu, according to Marca.

Florentino Pérez preferred to sign Christian Eirksen, but according to Marca, he is willing to give into Zidane's demand to lure Pogba to the Spanish capital. Agent Mino Raiola is set to make the deal happen, and team exec José Angel Sánchez, Florentino Pérez's right-hand man, will work side-by-side with the Italian agent to make the deal come true.

Marca's report also states that Pogba is aware of Manchester United's reluctance to sell him. Even so, the footballer is set to push for a transfer away from Old Trafford, which would have him handing in a transfer request.

The next few weeks will be key to see this deal come to fruition. Be sure to keep track of this transfer and other moves with our detailed summer transfer window articles, updated every day with key moves by the top European teams.
