Details on the signing and the player's unveiling date with Los Blancos were revealed on the team's website.

At long last, Eden Hazard will see his wish come true.

A brief press release by Real Madrid revealed that the Belgian footballer will finally join Los Blancos, following a tense negotiation between the Spanish club and Chelsea.

Details on the deal were revealed on Thursday, but paperwork issues delayed the official announcement until Friday.

According to Real Madrid's press release posted on their website, Hazard will put pen to paper to a five-year deal with Los Blancos. While wage details were not disclosed, the club has stated that Hazard will be unveiled on June 13 at Santiago Bernabeu stadium, in similar fashion as past big-bame signings for the Spanish capital giants.

Chelsea's director Marina Granovskaia bid farewell to the player via a press release issued on The Blues' website.

"Although it is with sadness we say goodbye to Eden and we made it absolutely clear to him the club wished him to stay, we respect the decision he has made to take on a new challenge in a different country and follow his childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid," Granovskaia stated.
