The Catalan giants will try to get the Brazilian ace back after Messi urged the team to lure the player away from Paris.

Neymar has been the talk of the weekend due to an off-the-pitch issue, but this time, he goes back to the headlines in Spain due to an alleged interest from Barcelona to have him back.

The Brazilian ace has been linked with a move back to Catalunya after  conversation between Messi and club execs concluded with "La Pulga" asking for Neymar's return. Given that Neymar is the cornerstone of PSG's project, the French side has slapped a "not-for-sale" tag on the footballer, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has three reasons to tempt PSG in selling the player back to them.

Those "reasons" come in the shape of three transfer targets to bring Neymar's cost down. The first one is none other than Philippe Coutinho, the second one is Ousmane Dembelé, and the third one is Ivan Rakitic. All three players have been on PSG's radar, and both teams would be satisfied with the deal coming in from the Spanish city.

Added to that, coach Thomas Tuchel had asked PSG execs to try and lure Ivan Rakitic to Parc Des Princes, but an $80M offer was rejected by the Blaugrana side.

Neymar is currently preparing his 2019 Copa América appearance with Brazil. With the ongoing turmoil in his personal life, a return to Barcelona may look like a blessing in disguise, but it will be up to PSG to decide if the most expensive player in history will be able to walk away from Parc Des Princes without winning the UEFA Champions League with Les Parisiens.
