One more blunder by the Spanish goalkeeper may put an end to his stay at Old Trafford.

Apparently, Manchester United's hierarchy is tired of David De Gea's costly blunders and are ready to sign his replacement.

According to sources consulted by ESPN, the Spanish goalkeeper might be living his final days with the Red Devils, since he is only one year away from ending his contract with the club. With that in mind, and with no agreement between both parties to pen a new deal, De Gea would be set to leave the Red Devils once they sign his replacement, which would follow a similar path as the one De Gea followed to Old Trafford.

ESPN's sources reveal that Manchester United is willing to pay Jan Oblak's $150M buyout clause to lure him away from Atlético Madrid, paving the way to let De Gea go. The Slovenian goalkeeper is the frontrunner to win the Zamora trophy, given to the goalkeeper with the lowest goals per game ratio in La Liga, and considering the way things are going, making him De Gea's replacement seems like a good option.

Oblak has recently signed a contract extension with the Spanish club, but Manchester United surely has enough cash to pay for this transfer. Either way, if this report is confirmed, and if Paul Pogba leaves the club, it is set to be a busy summer at Old Trafford.
