Kenny Dalglish has refused to give the public a clue concerning Andy Carroll’s debut as a Red. But fans are expecting the striker to feature at last on Sunday, in the Liverpool vs Manchester United match.
Since joining the KOP on the last day of the January transfer window, the ex-Newcastle United play maker hasn’t been in action on the pitch. Andy Carroll has actually been working on his fitness and after a month now, he could be ready to make his debut as a Liverpool player. However, Coach Kenny Dalglish has decided not to confirm anything as of now. He told The Sun:

“Whether he will be involved on Sunday, I'm sure Fergie would love to know. But, we don't know yet.

The Merseyside Reds’ manager, who was pictured with Andy Carroll at a Boyzone concert a week ago, then turned his attention to Andy Carroll’s fitness situation before concluding with a joke:

“His training is always progressing, but he has not yet progressed to a game yet. We have said all along we’ve been delighted with his progress and what he has done.

“There have not been anything which he has done which has not been encouraging. But Andy might not even be a substitute; he might be going to see Boyzone!”
