Another VAR decision sparked massive argument across the internet after a linesman call initially overruled the legitimacy of what was supposed to be a Luis Suarez opener for Barcelona in Wednesday's Champions League clash with Manchester United.

The dramatic moment was set in motion after Lionel Messi latched onto a loose ball at the right side of Manchester United's penalty area and found Luis Suarez with a cross. The Uruguayan made no error of the assist as he simply nodded the ball into the net of the Red Devils.

However, the striker and his teammates halted their celebrations after the linesman's initial stance suggested that the goal was offside. This was on the basis that Philippe Coutinho - who seemingly got the last touch under pressure from Luke Shaw - was behind Manchester United's defensive line before the chance was created.
