The Bosnian forward could make his return to the English top-flight, having enjoyed success there with Man City.

Edin Dzeko has been a hit at Roma since arriving in Italy from Man City, but according to recent rumors, the attacker could be on his way back to England.

While the Bosnian ace boasts a goal-every-other-game ratio, he has struggled to maintain the impressive goalscoring form that everyone has become accustomed to. The 33-year-old has only seven goals in 25 appearances for the Giallorossi this term, level with full-back Aleksandar Kolarov and two behind top-scorer Stephan El Shaarawy.

As a result, Il Tempo (via Football-Italia) claims his Serie A employers are not willing to offer the striker a new contract as they feel his poor campaign is proof that age has caught up with him. His current deal expires in the summer of 2020 but one Premier League side is eager to land him as soon as possible.

According to the report, that team is West Ham. The Hammers have added tons of experienced players to their roster over the years, signing previous league winners Chicharito, Pablo Zabaleta, and most recently Samir Nasri -- the latter two were Dzeko's team-mates at the Etihad Stadium.

However, despite substantial investment in the squad, the London club has failed to deliver in the English top-flight and sit in 11th in the standings. Pellegrini, who worked with Dzeko during their spell at Man City, could reap the benefits from a proven goalscorer with tons of experience.

West Ham has reportedly agreed a two-year deal with the player but Roma has rejected that offer. The Italian side wants $22M for the Bosnian, a fee which could complicate this transfer.
