The Frenchman will be a free agent next summer and is in search of a PSG exit.

Adrien Rabiot future remains up in the air after a breakdown in relationship with PSG. The French midfielder is in exile after refusing to sign an extension and is determined to force an exit but his options are slowly declining.

The 24-year-old had been linked with an array of European heavyweights after impressing in Ligue 1. Barcelona had been heavily linked with the Les Parisiens ace while Real Madrid has reportedly already reached out to the player.

Rumors claim that Los Blancos have made contact with Rabiot and have struck a verbal agreement which will see him land in Madrid this summer. However, according to Marca, that does not seem to be the case.

The Spanish news outlet writes that sources within the club have confirmed that the Liga giant is not interested. This is despite the fact that Zidane's side can land him for free given that his current deal with PSG is set to expire in the summer.

To make matters worse for Rabiot, the acquisition of Frenkie de Jong at Barcelona means the ship has sailed on a Camp Nou switch. The midfielder has his mind set on leaving Paris but of his biggest suitors appear to have dropped out of the race for his signature.

The Premier League remains an option. Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked with the 24-year-old; however, only time will tell where the talented contract rebel will end up.
