The England starlet failed to make the starting XI in his team's Premier League outing on Tuesday.

England striker Marcus Rashford was surprisingly amiss in Manchester United's starting lineup which was released ahead of Tuesday's Premier League clash with Wolves. The 20-year-old forward also failed to make the substitute bench and it has since been revealed that an ankle injury ruled him out of the trip to Molineux Stadium.

Rashford has been very integral to the success enjoyed by Manchester United since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Having been restored to his favored center forward position since the arrival of the Norwegian manager, the attacker's proficiency was witness again in his side's last league outing against Watford where he opened the scoring in the 2-1 win.

In all, the United academy graduate stands along three other players to have recorded double figures in Premier League goals with his tally now standing at 10.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer resorted to making six changes to the side that won away to Watford over the weekend. Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku replaced Marcus Rashford upfront after sitting out the weekend's win while Jesse Lingard also returned to the starting lineup following a spell on the sideline with a knock.

Scott McTominay and Fred replaced Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera in the midfield and Diogo Dalot was also given a run out on the right side of attack. Lastly, Victor Lindelof replaced Phil Jones at center back after enjoying a substitute role against Watford.
