The Frenchman will look to recruit the Reds ace in a bid to strengthen his squad this summer.

Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane is reportedly keen on bringing Liverpool winger Sadio Mane to Santiago Bernabeu. The Frenchman is already making plans for a potential squad overhaul in the summer after returning to take charge of affairs for the second time following the sack of Santiago Solari.

Zidane is said to be a huge admirer of Mane and the Reds attacker was expected to be the Frenchman's first signing last summer. However, the deal went down the drain after the Merengue's coach terminated his contract.

The second coming of Zizou at Real Madrid was met with good fortune as he recorded a 2-0 win over Celta Vigo in his first game in charge over the weekend. In a bid to bolster his current squad, France Football magazine claims that the 46-year-old manager will look to bring Sadio Mane on board this summer.

The Senegalese attacker is currently enjoying a form of his life and has proved to be crucial in Liverpool's quest of challenging Manchester City for the league title in the ongoing campaign. The 26-year-old winger recently scooped his side's Player of the Month honor and has so far scored 20 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions this season.

Mane, who signed a new contract in November, is expected to stay at Liverpool until 2023. As a result, Real Madrid will be required to break the bank in order to convince Jürgen Klopp or the Liverpool board to let the ex-Southampton star leave.
