Added to a potential move for Eden Hazard, Zidane has set his sights on three footballers to bring Real Madrid back to greatness.

Zinedine Zidane's return to Real Madrid was expected to come with some top-caliber signing for Los Blancos, and the Frenchman's wishlist has apparently made it all the way to the pages of Spanish newspapers that specialize in sports.

The French boss left a few things unsolved when he decided to resign from his position, but he is ready to get back to work as soon as possible, which includes handing in a list of petitions for the club to work on.

Added to the interest of having Eden Hazard around, Spanish media outlets such as Diario As refer to three players that are already on Zizou's radar. The first one of them is Kylian Mbappé, who came close to join Los Blancos two years ago, but Florentino Pérez decided to give Gareth Bale one more shot despite Zidane's involvement in that negotiation. Even after the player's claims about how he wants to keep playing for PSG, Los Blancos will try to lure him away to the Spanish capital.

Mbappé is seen as the man that could lead Los Blancos' frontline for years to come.

The second top-caliber name on Zidane's notebook is none other than Paul Pogba. Both the player and the coach want to work together -just like Hazard- but given Pogba's revival at Manchester United, his transfer will not be easy to accomplish by Real's execs. This is where the likes of Gareth Bale, Asensio or Isco could be included in a potential deal, according to Spanish outlets.

Pogba has never hidden his desire to play in La Liga and was linked with a move to Barcelona last summer.

Last, but not least, Zidane has targeted Sadio Mane as a potential transfer. The Senegalese footballer was linked with a move to the Spanish club as a direct request from Zidane, but his departure cancelled all negotiations. Now, with Zidane back, Mane is one of the names being followed closely again by the team's hierarchy.

Will this second attempt to lure the African player away from Anfield come to fruition?

While other rumors pointed out that Harry Kane and Neymar would be included in the massive overhaul planned by Zidane, those names have been crossed out by the French boss. Kane's arrival to the Bernabeu will not take place since Karim Benzema is one of Zidane's most appreciated footballers. The large amount requested by Tottenham (over $250) for the player's transfer would also be a speed bump, with Zidane opting to use that money to sign two backup players.

Regarding Neymar, Zidane will not give into Florentino Pérez's desire to sign the player for two reasons. First off, he believes that Neymar's presence could disrupt at one moment the harmony inside Real Madrid's locker room despite his quality.

The other reason has to do with the player's trips to Brazil, which frequently end with the footballer picking up an injury just when the Rio de Janeiro Carnival is in full throttle. Zizou believes Neymar is a great player, but not the kind of footballer he needs to bring Real Madrid "back where it  belongs," according to the Frenchman's words in Monday's presser.
