Los Blancos seem determined to add talent to the left-back position despite Sergio Reguilon's surge during this season.

Marcelo's days as a Real Madrid footballer seem to be numbered, especially after a report that names the man that will take over as Los Blancos' left back.

The Brazilian ace has fallen down the pecking under since Santiago Solari took over, and with a massive overhaul being expected at the Bernabeu, Florentino Pérez has his name at the top of this summer's transfer list.

Marcelo gave an interview in which he urged Real Madrid to come clean about their intentions to sell him, and apparently the team has called his bluff. According to Tuttosport, the team has named Ajax left back Nicolás Tagliafico as the man that will replace Marcelo.

In fact, it was Tagliafico's agent that confirmed the news to Italian outlet Tuttosport.

"Real Madrid have Tagliafico's name on their list, because Marcelo is off to Juventus. But no one has called me yet," agent Ricardo Schliper said.

The Argentine defender joined Ajax two summers ago and has played 42 games for the Dutch side. He has also played 12 games for Argentina's National Team, including all of the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches La Albiceleste played.

Real Madrid fans believed that with Sergio Reguilón's rise to fame at left back, the club would focus on getting other players. Apparently, Los Blancos' execs have other plans.
