One of the two private ships sent out to search for the missing plane has reportedly discovered the wreckage.

The missing private airplane that carried Cardiff City player Emiliano Sala and pilot David Ibbotson has reportedly been located. According to Sky News, one of the private search boat dispatched located the remains of the Piper Malibu aircraft on the seabed of the English Channel.

The discovery was said to have been made on Sunday morning, 12 days after the aircraft disappeared off radars near the Channel Islands. There was no account of any survivors. 

On Saturday, Sala's new club Cardiff City held a brief memory ceremony for the Argentine striker inside the Cardiff City Stadium ahead of the league clash with Bournemouth. The Bluebirds subsequently dedicated the 2-0 win over the Cherries to the missing footballer.
