EPL Matchday 22: TV Listings, full fixtures including Tottenham vs Man United

January 11, 2019 By Oscar Rojas
Liverpool will try to hold on to their 4-point lead when they visit Brighton. Meanwhile, Manchester City will host Wolves on Monday's action.

There are no more unbeaten teams in the Premier League, and the leader of the competition enters this game like never before in this campaign: having lost two games in a row in all competitions.

The Reds will try to get back on track when they battle Brighton, a game that should not represent too much trouble for Klopp and Co, despite having lost some of their mojo in the past weeks.

Chelsea will host Newcastle in the last game to be played on Saturday, with their sights set on cutting the gap between them and Tottenham for the third spot in the competition. The Blues have won two out of the last four, which has seen them lose their previous pace.

Matchday 22 will end on Monday, as Manchester City hosts a surprising Wolverhampton team that has given more than one headache to the top six teams in the competition.

Match of the Week - Tottenham vs Manchester United

Mauricio Pochettino's men will host the in-form Red Devils in a crucial match for both teams. Tottenham could pile up the pressure on Manchester City with a win, while Manchester United would equal Arsenal's 41-point tally in the season.

Tottenham's loss against Wolves hurt their chances to keep the second spot in the EPL after Man City's poor form in December, which also gave way for Chelsea to keep fighting. Regarding Manchester United, Mourinho's sacking has come as a blessing in disguise, with four straight wins in the English top flight since his departure. Be that as it may be, the game between Spurs and Red Devils is a must watch for all football fans, especially if there are hopes for Solksjaer's men of avenging their 3-0 loss from the first round.
