Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has reaffirmed that Andy Carroll was a good inclusion to the Reds’ team. Carroll is presently out of action, but the coach believes his comeback will be wicked.
The former Newcastle United forward was unexpectedly added to the Liverpool squad that travelled to the Czech Republic to face Sparta Praha in the UEFA Europa League, this week. Carroll was not able to feature in the match following his injury, but Dalglish is confident that the striker will prove why he was so expensive at his return, with a convincing display.

The Liverpool legendary boss is already pleased by the youngster’s work, and he would be delighted to see him on the field against Manchester United early in March, in the Premier League. The Daily Mail quoted Dalglish saying:

“He is a really good lad and really down to earth. That’s a value that I think is very important nowadays.

“You say ‘this is an age where the punters can't relate to the people on the street’. Well I don't think he’s going to have a problem with that.

“The fans will really relate to him once he gets fit and starts to play for us. Going to Prague was just so he could continue his rehabilitation.”
