The Rossoneri has set its sights on the Blaugrana midfielder who arrived less than six months ago but he is reportedly unhappy.

Serie A giants AC Milan are believed to be considering a January move for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal. The 31-year-old Chilean has failed to break into the starting XI of the Catalans and has mostly posed to be a surplus to requirement.

Up until recent weeks, Vidal enjoyed consistent spells on the Barcelona bench following his arrival from Bayern Munich earlier this summer. As a result, the Chilean midfielder was said to be very dissatisfied with his role at the Spanish club and was reportedly weighing up his options in the hope of securing more playing time elsewhere.

According to Spanish publication Dario Gol, Vidal has been identified by AC Milan as one capable of marshaling its midfield. The San Siro outfit, who is still in a transition, has done remarkable transfer business in recent times and are aiming to add another talisman to its ranks. However, Gattuso's s side can only afford to sign Arturo Vidal in a temporal deal while midfield pair Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura continue their respective injury recoveries.

Similarly, the AC Milan is looking to add Chelsea's out-of-favor midfielder Cesc Fabregas to their ranks. While the Rossoneri will seek to reduce the heavy wage bill of the Spaniard, it is yet to decide whether to acquire the player on the full or shot-term basis.
