On Wednesday, Man United will face a tricky test against Juventus. The Premier League giant will lock horns with the Italian league leader with the hope of achieving a positive result, but will be without the services of one player.
That man is Romelu Lukaku. Speaking ahead of their clash in Turin, Jose Mourinho revealed that the Belgian attacker will play no part in their upcoming Champions League tie.
The 25-year-old was not named in the Red Devils' squad for Wednesday's clash. The former Everton man suffered a muscle injury during training and could also miss his side's crucial Premier League game next weekend as well.
"He's injured for tomorrow, I'm not sure for Sunday," the Special One said ahead of their trip to the Allianz Stadium. This is a huge concern for Mourinho's side given that their next English top-flight game will be the Manchester Derby.

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is a doubt for the Manchester derby after sustaining a muscle injury, Jose Mourinho has confirmed.

Lukaku has been struggling with form recently, drawing criticism for his goalless run as of late. The Belgian has not scored for Man United since September 15, with Jose stating after the 1-0 Old Trafford loss to Allegri's men that his striker is short on confidence.
The 25-year-old was subsequently dropped for their 2-1 win over Everton. He also missed the comeback victory over Bournemouth, but that absence was due to the injury he picked up in training.
Despite his form, his layoff will come as a huge blow for the Red Devils when they travel to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Anthony Martial has stepped recently, but the Belgian would add another dimension to Mourinho's attack when they lock horns with the reigning champion.
As for Wednesday's Champions League clash, Man United was always going to be in for a rough 90 minutes. They lost at home to Cristiano and Co. and must try to end their unbeaten run this season or risk falling eight points behind the Old Lady.
