By the end of this deal, Los Blancos will have spent over 32 years in a row wearing Adidas kits

Real Madrid's season may not be going as planned, but the team's hierarchy has landed a very lucrative deal that will guarantee Los Blancos a handsome amount of cash every season.

As reported by Marca and Mundo Deportivo earlier today, the Spanish giants are on the verge of signing a contract extension with Adidas, the team's kit sponsor since 1998. The deal will see its end after the 2029-30 season, and the German kit manufacturer will have to pay over $110M to the Spanish club.

This is a major improvement of Real Madrid's current deal with the brand, as Los Blancos will double the current amount they receive from the German kit manufacturer (over $52M). The deal, set to be signed before the end of the year, could see Los Blancos earn over $150 million, depending on the amount of jerseys sold throughout the world.

When the contract is signed, Real Madrid will surpass Manchester United with the most "expensive" jersey of all time. As of now, Manchester United collects $97M from Adidas, who signed a deal with the Red Devils back in 2016.
