The Brazilian footballer was influential to Real Madrid's 2-0 win against Valladolid after coming in with less than 20 minutes left in the game.

Real Madrid fans may be desperate to see Vinicius turning into the next big thing at the Bernabeu, but they surely have reasons to believe the footballer can become one of the most decisive players in their squad right now.

The Brazilian ace changed the course of today's game between Los Blancos and Valladolid with a shot on goal that was eventually deflected in by Kiko Olivas. That goal and a key pass to Benzema that led to a penalty were all because Vinicius' influence, cementing his options to become a regular player for the Spanish giants.

Speaking after the game, interim coach Santiago Solari admitted that putting that kind of pressure on the youngster's shoulders could be risky, but he can't go around telling people what they should think about any footballer.

"Those of us that are involved in football can't fight with what happens away from the pitch. Having people react to a player's performance with a sense of hope is fantastic, but we have to ponder the player's skills to see what kind of footballer he will become. Vinicius is one of us, but he still needs to work harder to understand how to play top-flight football," Solari stated.

The Argentine boss went on to reveal what he told his rising star before he entered the pitch, hinting that he still needs a lot of work before being considered a star.

"I told him to go out there and try to dribble, because that is what he can do better. I also told him to help his team-mates in defense, because he tends to forget that part of the game," Solari added.
