The countdown clock marks 231 days until the opening day at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup which will be staged in France.

This Friday, fans from around the world will be able to purchase tickets at an affordable price as World Football's governing body remains dedicated to growing the stadium attendance rate in the women's game. The sales of tickets for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup starts this Friday at 6:00 AM PT/9:00 AM ET/15:00 CET on the official FIFA website, at FIFA.com/FIFAWWC/tickets to be precise.

There are nine venues for the 52 games at the tournament. The opening fixture at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup will be staged in Paris at the Parc des Princes. The stadium will host six other matches including the second quarter-final match. 

The grand finale will take place at the Stade de Lyon which will be showcasing only three Women's World Cup 2019 fixtures – the other two being both semi-finals on July 2 and July 3. The tickets package for these three matches in Lyon starts from 50 euros.

Meanwhile, for all the other encounters, the tickets package starts from 25 euros to attend a trio of games in the eight other hosting cities. There are up to 10 different packages with the biggest one giving access for fans to attend up to seven fixtures. 

The full match schedule of the 24-team FIFA Women's World Cup will be available on Saturday, December 8, 2018 right after the group stage draw. As of today, 17 nations have confirmed their participation alongside hosts France. They are Australia, China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand from the AFC; Canada, Jamaica, and the United States from CONCACAF; Brazil and Chile from CONMEBOL; England, Germany, Italy, Norway, Scotland, Spain, and Sweden from UEFA.

CAF's representatives will be identified when Ghana stage the Africa Women's Cup of Nations in November. Three more slots -- one each from OFC's Women's Nation Cup, UEFA's Netherlands vs Switzerland play-off final, and the Argentina vs Panama intercontinental playoff -- are yet to be determined.
