Their 6-0 win over the Caribbean nation was enough to earn them a ticket to France.

USWNT's campaign to defend their World Cup title is marching full steam ahead with Team USA booking their ticket to France 2019. Their qualification came courtesy of their 6-0 win over Jamaica.

The Stars and Stripes locked horns with the Caribbean nation in the CONCACAF Women’s Championship, with victory in the last four meriting a spot in next year's major tournament. USA steamrolled past their opponent, as it didn't take too long for them to march into a comfortable lead.

It took them less than two minutes to break the deadlock. After a little over 30 minutes, USWNT was already 5-0 up, with Rapinoe and Ertz joining brace-scorers Heath and Morgan on the scoresheet.

The victory over Jamaica also booked a mouth-watering final between the reigning Women's World Cup holder and Canada. Their North American rival also enjoyed a huge win en route to the final, thrashing Panama 7-0 in the penultimate stage.

The question is will Alex Morgan and Co. lift this title to head into France on a high next year? While on paper, USWNT stands head and shoulders above their CONCACAF rivals, Canada's goalscoring form could be a worry for Jill Ellis' side.

The Stars and Stripes scored a whopping 18 goals in the group stage, but their opponent in the final came short of that tally by only one, netting an impressive 17 times themselves. However, altogether, both sides have scored 24 goals including the semi-finals.

The final will be held on Wednesday the 17th at the Toyota Stadium. All eyes will be on USWNT and whether the queens of women's international football can be stopped.
