The French manager's agent has pour cold water on his supposed move to the Red Devils.

The agent of former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has downplayed speculations linking his clients to take charge of Manchester United. The Red Devils are believed to be considering the prospect of showing current manager Jose Mourinho the exit door.

The Portuguese manager who has had very little going his way this season, has seen his side suffer shock defeats against lowly-ranked clubs and has also while falling out with a few key players in his side. Formerly, the 51-year-old manager was reportedly at loggerheads with the Manchester United board who failed to support him in acquiring players on his wishlist in the transfer window. This withstanding, Jose Mourinho's days at Manchester United is speculatively nearing its end although the club recently issued a statement refuting the sacking claim.

Still, Zinedine Zidane, currently unassigned after leading Real Madrid to three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles in the last three seasons, is believed to be the frontrunner as far as the recruitment for a new manager for the English club is concerned.

Back in September, reports in England insinuated that the French manager has been in touch with United executives and has been assured of the managerial role should Jose Mourinho's reign come to an end. Nonetheless, Zidane's representative who labeled him as "mentally exhausted" after his historic stint as Real Madrid manager does not expect him to move to England's top flight.

The agent, identified as Alain Migliaccio told Le Journal Du Dimanche that the style of the league is not appealing enough for his client.

"I don't think he will manage in England," Alain Migliaccio told Le Journal Du Dimanche.

"It doesn't fit his style.

"I talked to him. It doesn't really appeal to him. He decided to take a sabbatical year. He will not get into managing before [his sabbatical ends]."
