Deleted tweets by Aaron Ramsey's agents appear to confirm Arsenal exit

The player is into the final year of his contract and could thus leave the Emirates Stadium as early as January.

Aaron Ramsey's Arsenal fate appears to have been sealed. With the Welshman being in the final year of his contract, all fingers point to an Emirates Stadium exit come January.

And if deleted tweets are anything to go by, this appears to have been confirmed by the player's agents. In a number of social media posts which engaged one presumed fan about the midfielder's future, his representatives Avid Sports & Entertainment Group confirmed what the media has been reporting about his situation.

Several news outlets claimed that 27-year-old. who is free to negotiate with other clubs in the winter, favored a north London stay and was ready to sign a new deal. However, the Gunners ended up pulling that offer.

In the Twitter exchange, Avid Sports & Entertainment Group stated that the former Cardiff man "didn't want to leave, but there is no other option". Those tweets have since been taken down.

Emery's side reportedly want to cash in on Ramsey in January to avoid seeing him walk away for nothing in the summer. If they pull this off, the club's current longest serving will be donning a new shirt in roughly three months' time.

Liverpool is being tipped as a possible destination for the 2014 and 2017 FA Cup hero. Klopp is believed to be eager on bolstering his squad, having failed in his attempts to lure the Welshman to Anfield last summer. AC Milan, Juventus, and Real Madrid are other clubs reportedly eyeing the midfielder's situation.

Fans are split on this issue. While many argue that Aaron doesn't deserve the high wages he was demanding in his long contract saga, others admits they will be sad to see their goalscoring midfielder say goodbye.

Whether he will feature in Arsenal's upcoming Europa League clash against Qarabag is unknown. As it stands, Ramsey is the team's vice-captain, and with Petr Cech out injured, he might be called in to wear the skipper's armband on Thursday.
