The Qatari royal family was mentioned as the ones interested in striking a deal with Manchester United. Apparently, it is nearing completion.

The Glazers have never managed to avoid the spread of their controversial image within unsatisfied Manchester United fans. Now according to the Daily Express, the chairman of Qatar Holdings who is also the prime minister of this Arabic country, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, is looking to expand his acquisitions in the world of business by replacing the Glazers.

The Qatar royal family are reportedly planning to get a £1.5bn done with Manchester United soon, and one of the Qatar prime minister’s promises is to make large funds available for the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson to develop his squad as he wishes. The Glazers, who bought the Red Devils in 2005 for a fee of £790M, are wanted out by the majority of the club’s supporters.
