The Primeira Liga took a short break for the Taca da Liga, but now it's back in full swing this weekend. With Benfica stumbling to a 2-2 draw against Chaves, both Sporting Braga and Porto now have a great chance to overtake the Eagles and steal top spot by the time matchday six. Braga, who like Benefica, are the only other side yet to lose a game in the Primeira Liga this season, will be in action against Belenenses on the road on Sunday.
As for Porto, they will face Tondela at home on Friday - a team they have kept a clean sheet against in their last four fixtures but given that the visitors finally won their first Liga game, the minnows will be aiming to produce a shock result.
Meanwhile, Sporting CP, the other member of Portugal's famous "Big 3" are currently languishing in fifth spot after losing their last game and will hope to close the gap on the teams in the top three as they face Maritimo on Saturday.
