Some even believe they know when the Special One could get sacked.

After back-to-back defeats in the Premier League, the issue of Jose Mourinho's sacking has dominated the headlines. According to the Daily Mail, this topic is not exclusive to the media, as Man United players and staff have discussed this issue.

And as stated by the British news outlet, they believe they know when the Special One could get the boot. Despite claims the manager has the board's backing, his ax could come sooner rather than later in the predictions of many.

Some say a loss to Burnley will be the final nail in the coffin while others can't see him staying past September.  A source told the Daily Mail:

"They are saying Jose will be gone soon. Some think he'll be out if they lose at Burnley. Others can't see him lasting beyond September.

"We've seen this before and it just feels the same. The club will say it's supporting Jose but we all saw what happened with Louis. The players are already talking about the possibility of Zidane coming in."

This is definitely not a good sign for the Special One. While reports emerged shortly after the 3-0 home defeat against Tottenham that the board is willing to stick with the boss, failure to turn things around should result in his departure.

Woodward knows it's not in the best interest to undergo a third managerial change in less than five years. However, Man United has only three points from three games, which is an unflattering start for a tactician who was already under pressure to deliver.

Interestingly, Zidane was mentioned by that source as a possible replacement. The Frenchman is a free agent after winning three consecutive Champions League titles in a row at Real Madrid and would be an exciting addition to the English top-flight.

Whether he is the man to lead the Red Devils to their glory days is unknown. As for now, Mourinho is the man in charge and he does not appear to be throwing in the towel anytime soon.
