After losing their first ICC game, Real Madrid will hope to get back on track as they take on Juventus on Saturday, August 4th.

Real Madrid will be hoping to get back on track as Los Blancos face Serie A champions Juventus in their second game of the International Champions Cup on Saturday, August 4th. This will be the first meeting between the two sides since the Spanish giants eliminated Massimiliano Allegri's squad in the Champions League earlier this season, and kick-off at FedEx Field (located in Landover, Maryland) is expected to take place at 18:05 EST (00:05 CET on Sunday).

Interestingly, two players who were key protagonists back when the two sides clashed in the Champions League are no longer with their respective sides. Legendary shot-stopper Gianluigi Buffon, who was sent off after vehemently protesting what he felt was a wrong penalty call in favor of Real Madrid, has now moved on to ply his trade with PSG.

Meanwhile, the man who effectively ended Juve's dreams in the Champions League, Cristiano Ronaldo, made mega headlines by shockingly deciding to swap La Liga for Serie A, and one can certainly bet a whole slew of new fans will suddenly be trying to become more acquainted with Juventus and the Italian top flight this season.

However, for those hoping to see the Portuguese superstar feature against his former side, they will be very disappointed. The 33-year-old is not expected to play for La Vecchia Signora until much later this month, with some reports indicating he could make official debut in some capacity against minnows Chievo on August 18th.

In addition to Ronaldo, another notable absence for Juventus will be Paulo Dybala, with the young Argentinian star only having returned to training. Aditional absentees include Colombia's Juan Cuadrado, and Croatia's Mario Mandzukic, but the Bianconeri have fared quite well so far in the ICC - with youngster Andrea Favili enjoying his chance to shine with the senior team. The 21-year-old has scored three of Juve's four goals so far in the United States and will relish the opportunity to show Allegri he should get a real shot at playing with the first team when the upcoming Serie A campaign starts in a few weeks.

As for Real Madrid, new boss Julen Lopetegui will be very disappointed with his team's 2-1 loss to Manchester United. Despite boasting stars like Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, and Keylor Navas in their ranks, Los Blancos were unable to prevent Jose Mourinho's squad from winning their first game without going to spot-kicks.

Toni Kroos, Marco Asensio, and Isco are among the players looking to pick up more game-time after returning from their post-World Cup holidays while Bale will hope to cement his position as the undisputed star of team following Ronaldo's departure.
