After a narrow loss to Barcelona on penalties, Tottenham will take on AC Milan for its next ICC match on Tuesday, July 31st.

After an entertaining clash with Barcelona, Tottenham will resume its ICC tour as Mauricio Pochettino's men take on AC Milan on Tuesday at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota. Kick-off is expected at 20:35 EST (or 01:35 BST/02:35 CET on Wednesday), and having lost its last game, the English powerhouse will be looking to rebound against a Rossoneri side still seeking its first victory in this tournament.

Tottenham has experienced mixed fortunes so far and this will be the second time the London-based side takes on a Serie A opponent. The first was against Roma, during which Spurs cruised to a very comfortable 4-1 win thanks to braces from Fernando Llorente and Lucas Moura. Against Barcelona, however, the team was able to claw its way back into the game after going 2-0 down following Son Heung-Min and young midfielder Georges-Kévin N'Koudou, but the Blaugrana managed to ultimately win the tie on penalties.

Pochettino will still be missing a slew of key players for this upcoming game, and now unfortunately two more players who were part of the squad have had to depart due to injury. Midfielders Victor Wanyama and youngster Tashan Oakley-Boothe both have returned to London, and Wanyama's absense will be especially keenly felt as he missed four months last season due to a knee injury.

It's the same knee that now is troubling the Kenyan international, and with both Eric Dier and Moussa Dembele still on holiday, Pochettina will be really thin on options in the middle of the mark - especially as Moussa Sissoko came off injured during the game against Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Gennaro Gattuso's future continues to be up in the air as Antonio Conte has been linked with taking over the reins at AC Milan. The Rossoneri have had its share of issues off the pitch, namely with finances which saw Chinese chairman Li Yonghong ousted after failing to repay the massive loan he took from U.S.-based hedge fund Elliott Management.

As a result, Milan was initially banned from participating in the Europa League, but was able to see that verdict overturned. Key defender Leonardo Bonucci has been linked with a move back to Juventus as the team scrambles to rebuild ahead of the upcoming season in exchange for Juventus's young defender Mattia Caldara.

Transfer speculation aside, Milan has played one game so far at this summer's ICC tournament, and narrowly lost to Manchester United after a long penalty shoot-out. Naturally, with Barcelona coming up next, the Diavolo will hope to have better luck against another English side as it aims to get up and running ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.
