The French teenager has been key to Les Bleus' success in the competition and experts have named him as a possible Ballon D'Or contender

Being deemed as a possible Ballon D'Or winner before his 20th birthday is something that does not bother Kylian Mbappé. In fact, if he could choose winning any other trophy, he would be OK with it.

Speaking to French TV station TF1 after the World Cup win against Belgium, Mbappé shared his WC title wish with the audience, snubbing any chance of preferring to win the coveted individual trophy, which has been dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi over the past decade.

"I couldn't care less about that(winning the Ballon D'Or). I want the World Cup. I want to sleep with it!" Mbappé stated.

The 19-year-old striker, who is currently France's top scorer in the competition, added one more item to his wishlist: watching people go crazy if they win the FIFA World Cup title, especially since he has not seen anything like it in his lifetime.

"I wasn't born in 1998, so I have never seen people on the Champs-Elysees celebrating. I am going to give everything in this final. We will kill ourselves on the pitch to finish the job," the footballer added.

The French star has not been able to score during the last couple of games, but surely Les Bleus' fans will be eager to watch him find the back of the net on Sunday, as Didier Deschamps' men search for a second World Cup title.
