The Argentine ace, who made history today by becoming the third player to hand out a couple of assists in a World Cup game for Argentina, was caught on camera shedding tears after La Albiceleste's exit from the competition.
A few of his team-mates like Angel Di Maria, Paulo Dybala and Sergio Aguero joined him in that feeling, while some of his opponents like Paul Pogba came close to him to show their respects.

Some experts believed that this was going to be his final World Cup, and considering those claims, that might be the reason why Messi couldn't hold back.
