Preview Poland vs Chile - Lewandowski and Co. face La Roja

June 7, 2018 By Oscar Rojas
The Polish side is seen as the main threat in Group H. Let's see if La Roja can get them in shape for the 2018 World Cup

Poland's National Team enters the final stages of their pre-World Cup campaign, and facing one of the most talented South American teams out there will surely come in handy for them.

This will be the first friendly match for Adam Nawalka's men following the announcement of their World Cup squad. Needless to say, Robert Lewandowski will be the center of attention, as he aims to increase his tally as the team's all-time top scorer.

Regarding Chile, their 2018 World Cup elimination opened the debate about whether they should re-build the team, as many of their stars are getting old. This version of the Chilean side doesn't feature most of their stars, as Arturo Vidal is still recoverinf from a knee surgery and Alexis Sánchez decided to rest after a grueling Premier League season.

After this game, Poland will play one more friendly match against Lithuania on June 12. As for Chile, this will be their last game before FIFA's international break in September.

This game will be held at INEA Stadium, located in the Polish city of Poznan. This arena can accomodate up to 43,269 fans.

Did you know...? This will be the first-ever game between Poland and Chile's National Teams.
