The French manager was expected to take a sabbatical after stepping down as Real Madrid's boss, but it seems he has something else in mind.

Zinedine Zidane's exit from Real Madrid shocked the world, but one of the reasons behind it might be even more jaw-dropping.

According to numerous reports, the 3-time UEFA Champions League winner with Real Madrid may have been offered a staggering contract to lead Qatar's National Team in the 2022 World Cup.

The news was first revealed by Egyptian tycoon Naguib Sawiris on his Twitter feed, and the rumor started making waves around the world.

The French manager dismissed the idea of joining a new team or National Team after leaving Los Blancos, which is why such reports could be deemed as dubious. In fact, some sources started publishing this picture as confirmation of the deal, but this picture was taken when Zizou supported Qatar's bid to host the 2022 World Cup.

If this information turns out to be true, Zidane would earn $235 in the next four years.
