Two football icons got together prior to the last game of the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League season. Former team-mates David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane shared a few minutes ahead of the big game thanks to the team's main sponsor, where they discussed a variety of topics surrounding the club and the effect UEFA Champions League games have in their players.
"It's a very important competition for all clubs, but when you look at this club's history and what it has achieved, with the Champions League in particular, you realize it's a very special competition for us," Zidane said.
"When you're a Real Madrid player, there's something about Champions League nights that's special. The atmosphere is different, the fans are different, there is an expectancy throughout the club to do well in this competition," Beckham added.
The former English midfielder also praised Zidane's left-footed goal in the 2002 final as his best moment in the UEFA Champions League final, before he asked for a special favor. Have a look at the footage to find out what it was.
