Interestingly, Juventus is unbeaten in their last 11 TIM Cup matches against the Rossoneri. Their most recent win against Milan in the cup competition came only two years ago in 2016 where the two sides played out a 0-0 draw after a tough 90 minutes. A change in personnel saw Alvaro Morata replacing Hernanes for the extra-time and the Spaniard stole the win for the Massimiliano Allegri’s side by scoring the only goal of the game with his first touch.
Having already won both league games against Gattuso’s side this season, the Turin club is again expected to enjoy a similar stroll in what will be a record 18th TIM Cup Final for them. However, coming up against the team of the former Rossoneri and Italian midfielder who is desperate to finish the season with his first trophy, it is not going to be easy.
