Things got even more complicated for Arsenal in their Europa League tie against Atlético, especially after Laurent Koscielny had to be carried out due to a strange but serious injury.
The French defender left the pitch just after 12 minutes with what appears to be an injury to his right ankle. Koscielny asked desperately for medical assistance, and he even hit the ground with his right fist in a clear sign of frustration.
