In another piece of transfer news, Arsenal have confirmed that Carlos Vela will leave the English Premier League for La Liga anytime soon. Rumours had already been linking Vela to a Valencia transfer...
Earlier in January, Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger had affirmed that the young Mexican striker would indeed end his miserable record of irregular football by moving to another club on loan. According to reports, Bolton Wanderers are Wenger’s choice for Carlos Vela’s next destination.

Serie A's Chievo Verona and La Liga's Valencia have also been reported to be interested in the services of the Arsenal striker. Arsene Wenger's Bolton pick is actually based on the idea of offering Carlos Vela more English Premier League experience. However, it now looks like the young player will make a transfer out of England.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, the Arsenal coach talked about the transfer situation concerning the 21-year-old Mexican forward.

“There is nothing [transfer deal] done at the moment. But, that could be sorted by Wednesday or Thursday.

“Personally, I wish [Carlos Vela could move to a club in the English Premier League] because he is a great player. And it will be easier for me to follow his progress.

“But, he is attracted by Spanish football, because there they speak his home language. But hopefully, we can find a good solution for him in England.”

The January transfer window is about to close. Less than one week actually remains for transfer business to go on pause until the summer. In between time, Carlos Vela may be playing La Liga football; that is, if Arsene Wenger’s desire to have the player staying in the English Premier League fails to materialize.
