The Egyptian ace has been in sizzling form since joining the Reds, but it should not be forgotten that he was a Roma player only a season ago. This tie will grant the attacker a return to the Stadio Olimpico.
It will be interesting to see how the 25-year-old fares against his former side. Given his red-hot form, Salah could be the man to send Roma out of the Champions League.
However, the Italian club revealed that they will be thrilled to see the African ace. Taking to Twitter shortly after the draw, they send the Premier League ace a touching message in which they pledge to eternal friendship regardless of what they suffer at the hands of their former player.

The Liverpool ace also spoke fondly of his Roma. The Chelsea reject turned superstar said: "I had a great two years in Rome. The fans are unbelievable - they always showed me love and respect."
These two sides will lock horns on April 24 for the first leg with the return tie being held on Marcn 2. Bayern vs Real Madrid kicks off on April 25, with the second leg scheduled for May 1.
