Almost the entire world shared Zinedine Zidane's touchline reaction to Cristiano Ronaldo's overhead kick goal, and even if he scored some stunners of his own, Zidane chose to praise his pupil in the post-match press conference.
The French boss candidly recalled that goal he scored in the 2002 UEFA Champions League final and compared it to Cristiano's stunner against Juventus.
"It was a spectacular gesture. You simply have to take off your hat. We can say that it was one of the best goals ever scored. How does it compare to mine in Glasgow? I think the one I scored was prettier," Zidane jokingly replied.

Zidane was truly amazed by CR7's goal, as his touchline reaction hinted. The French boss described what he felt when he saw that goal, and even hinted that many fans shared his reaction around the world.
"Yes, I'm his coach, but I'm also a football fan. I'm happy for him. He's a different player who is used to do this sort of thing. I think everyone reacted as I did. We just have to be happy for having him play for Real Madrid," Zidane added.
