Fans in Major League Soccer are excited, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s debut draws closer. Only days after sealing his move, the Swedish icon is set to make his make his first appearance in the USA's top-flight.
The 37-year-old‘s LA Galaxy move was only confirmed just over a week ago, but he is already in line to feature in their clash with Los Angeles FC on Saturday. On Friday, the charismatic forward gave his first press conference since leaving Man United.
In his meeting with the press, Zlatan discussed a number of issues. He revealed that he was meant to join this club two year ago when he left PSG, prior to his Old Trafford switch. He then assured fans that his age should not be a worry, citing his Premier League accomplishments as proof.
“I feel like Benjamin Button. I was born old and I will die young,” Ibrahimovic said. He then declared his desire to win trophies with his new club, saying: “The lion is hungry”.
