Two key players for Manchester United last season may return to the pitch this weekend, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have completed full training sessions with the team, making themselves avaiable to earn a spot in the squad for Sunday's clash.
According to the Daily Mail, both players are being considered to make the bench on Sunday after lengthy spells on the sidelines.
Pogba hasn't played a game since September 12, when he had to leave the pitch during the UEFA Champions League clash against Basel.
On the other hand, Ibrahimovic hasn't featured in a single match since April, when he picked up a knee injury during a UEFA Europa League match. His return was scheduled for next year, but his top physical state allowed him to return before the scheduled date.
With these players back, Manchester United fans will be expecting the Red Devils to cut Manchester City's eight-point lead in the EPL standings before it's too late for them to challenge for one more domestic trophy.
