The Spanish center back scored two goals in the same game for La Roja for the second time in his career.

November 14,2017 will be a date Sergio Ramos will remember forever due to reasons on and off the pitch.

Today, the Real Madrid center back scored a brace with La Roja for the first time in twelve years. Added to that, he became the second player in the Spanish National Team's history to do so from the spot. The first player to score two penalties in the same game was Domingo Zaldúa, who accomplished that feat on May 22, 1927.

Added to that, Ramos reached the 13-goal mark with Spain, good enough to match Fernando Hierro's tally as center back. The former Real Madrid player scored 29 goals for La Roja, but he scored 16 while playing in midfield.

That's it! Sergio Ramos is the top scoring defender of all time alongside Hierro. Thirteen goals for the captain so far!
