The Spanish striker shared his views on what happened after he left Juve to re-join Los Blancos, hinting that he didn't leave the Spanish capital in the best possible way.

Alvaro Morata left no stone unturned when speaking about his former club, and Real Madrid fans will not be happy with the team's execs after reading his thoughts.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish striker admitted being disappointed during his second stint with Los Blancos, especially because he felt that nothing changed even after two years in Italy.

"I should have never left Juventus. I returned to Real Madrid because we agreed to include a buyback clause in my contract, and we had to live up to our word. But I was extremely disappointed. It was sort of going back to square one. They treated me like the kid I was before I joined Juventus," Morata stated.

Fans were extremely disappointed by Real Madrid's decision to let the player go, and the team's performances this season have confirmed their fears. Even when he was mostly used as a sub by Zinedine Zidane, Morata managed to become the club's second best goal scorer in all competitions behind Cristiano Ronaldo. With the team's slow start in La Liga, Real Madrid seem to miss the striker more than ever.
