Kaka is actively recovering from his injury and he is hopeful to be back for the Getafe vs Real Madrid match which will see Los Blancos play their first game after the winter break.
Real Madrid’s Kaka has been in the papers for some time now – more for some transfer rumour news than for some injury updates. With Leonardo now in charge of Inter Milan, talks about a possible switch for Kaka from Real Madrid to the blue and black side of the San Siro are intensifying.

It is believed that Coach Leonardo will be given full support to transform the European champions into “a team that will scare any opposition thanks to a few big names” as Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti wants it to be. According to the media and some football analysts, Real Madrid could agree to sell Kaka – who has made no real impact at the Santiago Bernabeu – as Internazionale look to strengthen their squad whereas Los Blancos are reportedly eying players such as Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez.

However, these transfer rumours related to Kaka are not confirmed reports. Now the Brazilian star has insisted that he is not leaving the Spanish capital as he plans to make his comeback into Los Blancos squad after the winter break. Real Madrid’s official club website quoted the number 8 player as declaring in response to the media's transfer stories:

“I am happy here and I’m not thinking of leaving the club.”

So Getafe vs Real Madrid is set to mark an exciting debut to the Spanish giants’ La Liga campaign in 2011 and Kaka is hoping to get some playing time in that match. The midfielder is currently recuperating from his long-term injury and the process is going on well according to reports as he is now able to participate in training sessions.

Following his operation in Antwerp which occurred in August 2010, Kaka has been advised to take the time that he needs to be in good health again. But the player is already thinking of regaining match fitness starting from January 3 when Real Madrid will travel to Getafe for an exciting derby match.

However, fans may only see Kaka back on the field of play a few days after the Getafe game. That is, when Los Blancos will play the second leg of their Copa del Rey clash against Levante on January 6. Fact: Kaka may be able to start regaining some vital match fitness through this encounter in the most comfortable manner. This is because Real Madrid have nothing to worry about thanks to a 8-0 advantage which they hold ahead of their second meeting away to Levante in the Copa del Rey.
